MultiLing 2013 is a workshop, held within ACL 2013, which covers three
sub-domains of Natural Language Processing, focused on the multilingual aspect

We are announcing the launch of a new contest in the fields of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. The contest is aimed at all C++ programmers and does not require specific knowledge of either Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence techniques in general.

Can we use machine learning on longitudinal patient records to predict whether someone will have type 2 diabetes? Can we discover what are the causes of diabetes, and can we use the insights obtained from machine learning to suggest new interventions to prevent diabetes onset altogether?
