Salary: Grade 6 / 7 £26,527 - £29,837 / £32,590 - £36,661 per annum

Working with Professor Dirk Husmeier (University of Glasgow, School of Mathematics and Statistics), Dr. Simon Rogers and Dr. Maurizio Filippone (both University of Glasgow, School of Computing Science you will make a leading contribution to an EPSRC-funded research project on computational inference of biopathway dynamics and structures.

Specifically, the job requires expert knowledge in computational statistics and machine learning in addition to comprehensive knowledge of nonparametric Bayesian modelling and experience of interdisciplinary research.

The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.

This position has funding for up to 3 years in the first instance
